Vintage Coro Owl Sterling Silver Earrings
Add some fun to your wardrobe with this pair of gold-plated sterling silver earrings shaped as owl heads. The earrings are signed by Coro Craft, manufacturer of some of the most collectable vintage pieces today. Established in 1901 as a small accessory boutique in New York, Coro became America’s largest costume jewellery producer by the mid-1920s and worked with many great designers. Before 1947, the company was known as CR and had several other subsidiaries and names over the years, including Coro Craft (or Corocraft), a signature given to the company’s higher-class items after 1937. This charming set of owl earrings aligns with the brand’s use of whimsical birds to create the popular Coro Duette designs of the time. Beautifully detailed with enamel and rhinestones, the owl heads feature two glass eyes in brilliant green, adding colour and presence. Elegant and versatile, these playful sterling silver earrings will accompany you to any occasion and add a vibrant note to your outfit.
