D’Orlan Red Glass And Rhinestone Stud Fan Earrings
A striking and dramatic pair of stud fan earrings from the 1980s-1990s to instantly increase your chic quotient. These dynamic beauties radiate with glass “blades” in a wine-red colour, culminating in a twisted cluster of gleaming white rhinestones. Artfully designed in rich gold-tone metal, these stylish dazzlers are signed D’Orlan and finished with a safety jacket closure. D’Orlan was a Canadian jewellery brand founded by engineer Maurice Bradden in 1957. Bradden had previously produced jewellery for Avon and became the protégé of famous French jeweller Marcel Boucher. Boucher’s company was sold to D’Orlan after his death, and the brand’s fame was further reinforced by their collaboration with Lancel and Nina Ricci in the 1980s. When it comes to the quality of the brand’s jewellery, only the best materials were used: Japanese glass, Austrian stones, and cultured pearls, along with their famous triple 22ct gold platings. Feminine and lavish, these delicate fan earrings will compliment any dress-to-impress look or festive outfit.
